
Coffee Truffles
The easiest, tastiest way to enjoy your coffee - coffee truffles are an easy-to-make, delicious dessert that everyone will love.
Ingredients
- 4 oz plain chocolate
- 2 oz butter
- 4 oz icing sugar
- 4 oz coffee cake crumbled
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp Creme de Cacao
- chocolate vermicelli
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water.
- Remove from the heat and stir in remaining ingredients except the chocolate vermicelli.
- Chill in the refrigerator until firm enough to handle.
- Mould into balls the size of a small walnut and roll in the vermicelli.
- Leave to set on greaseproof paper before putting in individual paper cases.
