Stuffed okra (Bharwan Bhindi)
Ingredients
- 1.1 lb Okra bhindi, washed, dried
for the filling:
- 2 tbsp Mango powder amchur
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 2 tbsp Coriander dhaniya powder
- 1 tsp Cumin jeera powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
- Slit each okra from the centre without cutting it into two halves.
- For the filling, combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Fill each okra with this mixture carefully.
- Heat the ghee in a pan; add the stuffed okra gently and cook on low heat till done.
- Serve hot.
