Sambal #1
This sambal is usually served with fish or vegetable curries.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Peeled cooked shrimps chopped
- 2 Hard-boiled eggs sliced
- 1 Medium onion finely chopped
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- piece Fresh root ginger peeled 2 1/2 cm (1 in) and finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp Hot chilli powder
- 2 Tbs Thick coconut milk
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds coarsely crushed
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients, except the cumin seeds, in a shallow serving dish and mix well.
- Sprinkle the crushed cumin seeds over the top. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
