Oat Biscuits
Delicious, easy, and healthy oat biscuits recipe.
Ingredients
- 4 oz porridge oats
- 2 oz flour sifted
- 3 oz caster sugar superfine granulated
- 2 oz desiccated coconut
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 8 Tbsp butter or margarine melted
- 1 egg beaten
Instructions
- Mix together the oats, flour, sugar, coconut and baking powder.
- Add the butter and egg and blend well.
- Roll out the mixture to 1 cm (1/2 inch) thickness and cut into shapes with biscuit cutters.
- Place on a greased baking sheet and bake in a preheated moderate oven 180°C (350°F) Gas Mark 4 for 20 minutes.
