Haricot Beans with Cabbage (Fagioli con le Verze)
Ingredients
- 1.6 lb haricot beans
- 3 1/2 oz chopped fennel
- 2 oz chopped onion
- 7 oz shredded cabbage
- 2 oz tomato puree
- 2 1/2 oz fried lardons of bacon
- 2 chopped cloves of crushed garlic
Instructions
- Cook 1.6 lb haricot beans in water with 3 1/2 oz chopped fennel, 2 oz chopped onion, 7 oz shredded cabbage and 2 oz tomato puree.
- When cooked, finish by adding 2 1/2 oz fried lardons of bacon, 2 chopped cloves of crushed garlic and seasoning.
