Ingredients
 

  • 12 oz frozen gooseberries
  • 1/2 lemon jelly tablet broken up
  • 6 oz can evaporated milk
  • a little green food colouring

Instructions

  • Put the gooseberries in a pan with a drop of water and cook gently until soft. Pass through a sieve and while still hot add the jelly. Stir until dissolved. Leave to cool but not set.
  • Whisk the evaporated milk until really thick and fold through the gooseberry puree with a little green colouring. Spoon into glasses, chill and serve.
