Cheese and Char grilled Pepper
Cheese and Char grilled Pepper recipe is a delicious snack for any occasion. These peppers can be served as a side dish with an entrée, as a topping for pizza, as a substitute for crackers with cheese and wine, or as a snack.
Ingredients
- 1 red pepper deseeded
- 1 tsp sun dried tomato dressing or French dressing
- 5 oz pack mozzarella drained and sliced
Instructions
- Cut the pepper into quarters and flatten with the palm of your hand. Place under a preheated grill, skin-side up, and grill for 3 to 5 minutes until the skin blackens and burns. Place the peppers in a bowl, cover with clingfilm and leave until cool.
- Peel the peppers, then cut the peppers into thick strips and toss in the salad dressing. Fill the sandwiches with slices of mozzarella and top with the grilled peppers.
