
Petits Pois a la Francaise
Ingredients
- 1.6 lb fresh shelled or frozen peas
- 1 lettuce heart
- 1 bunch spring onions
- 2 oz butter
- salt and pepper
- a pinch of sugar
Instructions
- Shred the lettuce and chop the spring onions.
- Melt the butter in a pan, add the lettuce, spring onions, peas, seasoning, and sugar.
- Cover and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes or until the peas are very tender.
- Season again if required before serving
