Ingredients
 

  • 7 oz Bengal gram chana dal
  • 1 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp Aniseed
  • 1 Cinnamon dalchini, 1 inch stick
  • 4 tsp Coconut nariyal, fresh, thin small pieces
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Sugar

Instructions

  • Boil the Bengal gram with turmeric powder and water till done.
  • Heat the oil and saute aniseed and cinnamon stick. Add coconut and saute further for 5 minutes.
  • Add the boiled Bengal gram and then cook for 10 minutes.
  • Mix in the salt and sugar. Serve hot.
