  • 1.3 lb spaghetti
  • 2 oz butter
  • 17 floz Tomato Sauce
  • 9 oz tomato concassee
  • 2 1/2 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper


  • Place the spaghetti into plenty of simmering salted water and stir to prevent it sticking; cook for 8-10 minutes, then drain in a colander.
  • Melt the butter in a shallow pan, add the spaghetti and mix with a fork.
  • Stir in the Tomato Sauce and tomato concassee and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the spaghetti in a suitable dish, accompanied with a sauceboat of grated Parmesan cheese.
