Prep Time 10 minutes

  • 12 oz fresh strawberries
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 pint chilled skimmed or semi-skimmed milk
  • 1/2 pint natural low-fat yoghurt

  • Chill 4 glasses. Reserve 4 strawberries for decoration and put the rest into a food processor or blender and sprinkle with the sugar. If possible, leave to stand for 20 minutes before pureeing the mixture. Pass the puree through a nylon sieve to remove seeds.
  • Return mixture to the food processor and add the milk and yoghurt. Blend on a high speed for 1 minute. Pour into the chilled glasses, decorate with the remaining strawberries and serve immediately.
