  • 4 oz Rice flour
  • 8 floz Water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil


  • Boil the water, salt, and oil in a covered vessel. Lower heat and slowly add the rice flour; mix continuously so that the mixture is lump-free.
  • Remove the vessel from the heat. Knead the. mixture with pressure. Put some dough into a vermicelli press and press onto a muslin cloth.
  • Steam for 3 minutes in a steamer or till cooked,
  • Repeat till all the dough has been used.
