
Bloody Maria
The Bloody Maria is a simple, classic cocktail that's been around for decades. Originally the drink was created as a variation of the Tomato cocktail, and over time it evolved to what we know today.
Ingredients
- 6 floz tomato juice
- 3 floz white tequila
- dash each of Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 8 ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine the tomato juice, tequila, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauces, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Add salt and pepper to taste, and four ice cubes. Shake very vigorously.
- Place the remaining ice cubes in two heavy-based tumblers and strain the tequila over them.
