Maas Ka Achaar (Venison pickle)
Ingredients
- 2.2 lb Venison cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 14 floz Vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 2 tsp Turmeric haldi powder
- 3 tsp Salt
- 5 tsp Aniseed saunf
- 5 tsp Cumin jeera seeds
- 2 1/2 tbsp Fenugreek seeds methi dana
- 10 tsp Mustard seeds raj
- 8 floz White vinegar safed sirka
Instructions
- Heat the oil; add all the dry spices and the venison
- pieces.
- Cook on low heat till the venison becomes tender.
- Remove from heat. When it cools, add vinegar and store
- in an airtight container.
