Hot Stilton Bites
Learn how to make delicious hot bites with stilton cheese and cranberry sauce (optional) for a holiday appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 9 oz ready-rolled puff pastry
- 4 oz Stilton cheese crumbled
- 1 oz parmesan grated
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp black mustard seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan oven/Gas Mark 7. Place a baking sheet in the oven to heat. Roll out the pastry to a thickness of 1 cm (1/2 in) and cut into 5 cm (2 in) squares. Scatter the stilton and parmesan, cayenne pepper, poppy seeds and mustard seeds over the pastry.
- Place the bites on the hot baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden. Leave for a few minutes, then transfer to a serving plate.
