method
1. Poach the apples in a pan with the water, sugar and lemon juice to taste until just tender. Drain.
2. Arrange half the cooked apple slices in the bottom of the baking dish.
3. Sprinkle on a layer of crunchy muesli, arrange the remaining apples on top and cover with the muesli.
4. Dot with butter and bake at 180°C (350°F) Gas 4 for 25 minutes.
