250 g blackberries
400 g Bramley apples, peeled, cored and cut into 2 cm pieces
1/4 cup (50 g) 2 oz caster sugar (superfine granulated)
300 g crumble topping
method
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) gas mark 6.
2. Mix the blackberries and apple together and place into a shallow ovenproof baking dish.
3. Sprinkle over the caster sugar, then scatter the crumble topping over and bake in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes until crisp and golden.
