method
1. Pour the boiling water over the prunes and leave to plump up overnight.
2. Cook the macaroni in boiling salted water with the oil, until tender.
3. In a bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, honey and vanilla with a fork.
4. Grease an ovenproof casserole and mix the prunes and noodles together in it.
5. Pour over the custard and sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
6. Bake for half an hour in a preheated oven at 160°C (375°F) Gas 3 and serve hot.
This dish is also good chilled.
