method
1. Place the apples in a pan with the water. Cook over a low heat until the apples are soft.
2. Puree the apples and stir in the sugar until it has melted.
3. Add the raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg.
4. To serve, arrange two scoops of ice cream in each serving dish.
5. Spoon the warm apple sauce over the top and serve immediately.
