8 oz (225 g) smoked haddock, cooked, skinned and flaked
1 1/4 cup (1/2 pint) 300 ml hot milk
2 eggs, beaten
salt
pepper
175 g (6 oz) Cheddar cheese, grated
1 tbls (15 g) 1/2 oz butter
method
1. Put the fish in a buttered baking dish.
2. Beat together the milk, eggs, salt, pepper and cheese until the cheese has melted.
3. Pour over the fish and dot the top with the butter.
4. Bake in a preheated cool oven 150°C (300°F) Gas Mark 2
