Consomme with Rice

ingredients

4 cups (1 litre) 1 3/4 pint consomme

for the garnish

25 g (1 oz) Patna rice

method

1. Cook the rice in boiling salted water until just tender.

2. Rinse and drain.

3. Heat the consomme to boiling point, add the rice, and heat through.
