Swiss Potato and Cheese Savoury

ingredients

serves 4
1 lb (450 g) potatoes, raw and grated
8 oz (225 g) Swiss cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup (150 ml) 1/4 pt milk
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp chives, chopped

method

1. Mix together the grated potato and cheese and season with salt and pepper.

2. Stir in the milk and Tabasco sauce and turn into a well greased ovenproof dish.

3. Bake in the oven Gas mark 3, 325°F (170°C) for 1 hour, or until brown on top.

4. To serve, turn upside down on to a plate and sprinkle with parsley and chives.
