5 tsp (10 g) Mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp Black pepper (kali mirch) powder
1/2 tsp Black salt (kala namak)
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 tsp (1 g) Ginger powder (sonth)
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
5 tbsp (100 g) 3 1/2 oz Sugar
2 tsp (10 g) Raisins (kishmish), clean, washed
method
1. Mix all the ingredients (except raisins) with 1/2 cup water in a saucepan and cook gently for 15 minutes. Ensure that the mixture is lump-free and the sugar dissolves completely. Add the raisins.
