1. Sift the gram flour, turmeric, cumin and garam masala into a basin, add the sliced onion and salt; moisten with the water and mix to a firm paste.
2. Drop tablespoonfuls of the mixture into hot corn oil and deep fry for 5 minutes until golden; drain and serve.

I've never made these before but this recipe was very easy to follow. And the results tasted gorgeous!
