method
1. Preheat oven 190°C/375°F/gas 5. Put pasta in a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 8 - 10 mins until just tender. Drain well.
2. Stir ham into pasta and put in greased ovenproof dish.
3. Beat together the eggs, cream and seasoning and add half the Gruyere cheese. Pour over the pasta.
4. Sprinkle remaining Gruyere and the Parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 40 mins until golden.
Whatever kind of pasta you use, always allow 50 - 75 g (2 - 3 oz) per person.
