White Cabbage Sauteed with Garlic

ingredients

serves 6
6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
6 garlic cloves, chopped
600 g (1 1/4 lb) white cabbage, thinly sliced
salt and pepper

method

1. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, add the garlic and cook over a medium heat for about 3 minutes until translucent.

2. Add the cabbage and saute over a high heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes more, until wilted.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
