method
1. Grease an ovenproof dish.
2. Set the oven at 200°c (400°f) gas 6.
3. Bring a large sauce pan of water to the boil.
4. Add the salt and vermicelli and cook for about 8 minutes until just tender. Drain, rinse the vermicelli under hot water and drain again.
5. In a large bowl, beat the egg with the sugar and cinnamon.
6. Mix in the vermicelli with the melted margarine.
7. Spoon half the vermicelli mixture into the prepared dish.
8. Sprinkle with the sultanas and cover with the remaining mixture.
9. Bake for 30 minutes.
