1 1/2 lb (700 g) pork fillet, sliced
2 level tbsp seasoned flour
2 medium sized onions, skinned and sliced
2 oz (50 g) fat or oil
2 green peppers, seeded and sliced
1 1/3 cup (100 g) mushrooms, sliced
396-g (14 oz) can tomatoes
salt and pepper
method
1. Coat the slices of pork with seasoned flour.
2. Fry the onions in the fat or oil, then add the pork and fry until browned for 3-4 minutes transfer it to a casserole.
3. Fry the peppers and mushrooms until tender 5-6 minutes and add the tomatoes. Add to the meat in the casserole, season, cover and cook in the oven at 180°C (350°F) mark 4 for 1 1/2 hours.

This is very like an old recipe my mum used to do which I have been looking for.
The difference is that in my mums recipe you add 1/2 a pint of white wine (I'm using cider), 1/2 a pint of chicken stock, tomato puree, 4 fresh toms (not tinned)and a bit of Sage.
