method
1. Coarsely grind the green gram, onions, green chillies with salt, and red chilli powder.
2. Heat 2 tsp oil on a flat pan; spread about 2 tbsp of the green gram mixture to make a 10 cm flat pancake. Sprinkle some ginger on top. When the side turns golden, turn over and fry the other side as well. Add a little oil, if necessary. Repeat till all the batter is used up.
3. Serve hot.
