1 kg (2.2 lb) Lamb, cut into pieces
1 1/2 cups (300 ml) 11 fl oz Vegetable oil
Salt to taste
1/2 cup (120 ml) 4 fl oz Water
4 - 5 tbsp Red chilli powder
method
1. Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed deep pot. Add the lamb, salt, and water.
2. Cook covered on high heat, till it is heated through.
3. Lower heat and cook for 30 minutes; ensuring that the lamb does not stick to the bottom of the pot. Add the red chilli powder and cook till the lamb is tender.
