1 small ripe banana
3 tbsp lime cordial
2 3/4 cups (21 fl oz) 600 ml vanilla ice cream
1 1/4 cup (1/2 pint) 300 ml soda water
slices of lime, to decorate
method
1. Liquidise the banana, lime cordial and half the ice cream, blending until smooth and frothy.
2. Pour into individual glasses and float scoops of the remaining ice cream on top.
3. Hook a lime slice on to the edge of the glass before serving.
