1. Heat the dripping in a shallow roasting dish or tray. Add the sausages and shallow fry until brown on all sides.
2. Arrange neatly and pour in the batter mixture.
3. Place in the oven to bake at 220°C for 45 minutes until the sausages are cooked and the batter is crisp and golden.
4. Cut into portion sizes, arrange in an entree dish and serve accompanied by the sauce.
