3 fresh figs
1/2 glass red wine
1 orange, juice only
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp walnuts, chopped

method
1. Cut crosses into the tops of the figs.
2. Gently squeeze the bottom so that the fig opens slightly.
3. Place in a pan and pour over the wine, orange juice and sugar.
4. Simmer for one minute.
5. Put into a hot oven and roast for 7-8 minutes.
6. Sprinkle over the nuts and serve
