method
1. Marinate 1.25 kg cubes of tail-end of fillet of beef in 2 tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp ground cumin, 2 tsp sambal ulek, 50 ml lemon juice, 50 g brown sugar, 175 ml thick coconut milk and salt, for 1 hour.
2. Soak 10 bamboo skewers in water for 1 hour and skewer the cubes of beef, then grill/broil for 5 minutes.
3. Serve accompanied with peanut sauce.
