Brussels Sprouts with Garlic and Mushrooms

ingredients

serves 4
30 - 45 ml (2 - 3 tbsp) oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
450 g (1 lb) Brussels sprouts, thinly sliced
100 g (4 oz) mushrooms, sliced

method

1. Heat the oil in a wok or deep-sided frying pan. Add the garlic and fry quickly, stirring, until crisp and brown.

2. Add the sprouts and mushrooms and stir until coated with garlic and oil.

3. Stir-fry for 1 - 2 minutes and eat while crisp and hot.

4. This is particularly good with bean dishes.
