6 tomatoes, thickly sliced
freshly ground black pepper (lots!)
45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
freshly chopped herbs
6 peppercorns
method
Lay tomato slices on a large plate and dust them liberally with black pepper. Turn over and dust the other side.
Pour over the olive oil. Sprinkle with the herbs and decorate with the peppercorns.
