1. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
2. Place the butter into a small ovenproof frying pan, over a medium heat, to melt.
3. As the butter begins to foam, add the pear halves, cut-side down, and pan-fry for 3-5 minutes.
4. Turn the pear halves over, add the honey, then place into the preheated oven to finish cooking for 6-9 minutes.
5. For the chocolate sauce, place the honey, cocoa powder and the water into a small pan, over a medium heat.
6. Stir well until the mixture thickens and becomes sauce-like.
7. Pour over the roasted pears, to serve.
