450 g (1 lb) potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 - 2 fresh green chillies, seeded and chopped
2.5 g (1/2 tsp) salt
7 g (1 tbsp) coriander leaves, chopped
30 g (2 tbsp) chopped onions
oil for frying
method
1. Mix the mashed potatoes with the chillies, salt, coriander leaves and onions.
2. Form into small balls and flatten.
3. Heat oil for shallow frying till hot and fry the potato cakes for a few minutes each side till golden.
