45 ml (3 tbsp) olive oil
15 ml (1 tsp) white wine vinegar
5 g (1 tsp) turmeric powder
pinch chilli powder
10 g (1 tbsp) dry mustard powder
black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
450 g (1 lb) French beans, cooked
method
Stir together olive oil, white wine vinegar and spices.
Toss in the cooked French beans and mix gently.
Chill slightly, but not too much — too long in the refrigerator will dull the flavour.
