1. Pour the coconut cream into a small saucepan and heat it gently over a low heat for about 2 minutes.
2. Add the peanut butter and stir vigorously until the mixture is thoroughly blended. Continue to heat, but do not allow to boil.
3. Add the Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce to taste. Pour into a serving bowl.
4. Use a potato peeler to shave" thin strips from a piece of fresh coconut, if using. Scatter the coconut over the sauce and serve immediately.
