Chocolate sauce #3

ingredients

serves 3 - 4
50 g (2 oz) unsweetened cocoa powder
60 ml (4 tbsp) golden syrup
50 g (2 oz) butter
150 ml (1/4 pt) milk
2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla essence

method

1. Put cocoa, golden syrup and butter into a small pan. Heat gently until well blended. Stir in the milk and essence.

2. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for about 3 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
