600 ml (1 pt) ice cream
8 wafers or cookies
450 ml (16 oz) Chocolate or Fruit Sauce
250 ml (8 fl oz) whipped cream
50 g (2 oz) toasted nuts, chopped
4 glace or maraschino cherries
method
1. Arrange two scoops of ice cream in each serving dish, preferably two flavours.
2. Crumble the wafers or cookies and sprinkle over the ice cream.
3. Pour on the sauce. Top with whipped cream, piled as high as you can, and scatter chopped nuts on top.
