Fruit Crumble #2 recipe

ingredients

675 g (1 1/2 lb) stewed, fresh or poached fruit
150 g (6 oz) wholewheat flour
75 g (3 oz) margarine or butter
15 g (1 tbsp) bran

method

1. Arrange the fruit in the pie dish.

2. Sprinkle the flour into a bowl, rub the fat into the flour until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.

3. Add the sugar and bran, mixing well.

4. Sprinkle on top of the fruit and bake at 200°C (400°F) Gas 6 until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
