5 oz (150 g) minced beef
good pinch mixed herbs
salt and pepper
1 1/2 oz (45 g) sesame seed bap
1/2 teaspoon margarine
2 small lettuce leaves
few slices of onion
1 gherkin, sliced lengthways
1 small tomato, sliced
method
1. mix the beef and herbs together; season with salt and pepper.
2. Shape the beef into a pattie about the same size as the sesame seed bap and grill for 10-15 minutes, turning once.
3. Halve the bap and spread with the margarine.
4. Arrange the lettuce on the bottom half of the bap and top with the onion rings. Place the hot beefburger on top of the onion and arrange the gherkin and tomato on top of the beefburger. Cover with the other half of the bap and serve immediately.
