1. Scoop out and discard the black seeds from the centre of the papaya.
2. Remove the flesh from the papaya and place in a blender (there isn't enough for a food processor); add the lime juice, caster sugar and cream and process until smooth. if you don't possess a blender, mash the papaya until smooth, then gradually blend in the remaining ingredients.
3. Transfer the creamed papaya puree to a serving glass and chill until required. Serve with a slice of lime to decorate the papaya on the edge of the glass.
