1. First make the honey sauce.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the onion, mustard, honey, lemon juice and olive oil.
3. Mix thoroughly. Chill for 30 minutes.
4. Halve the avocados and remove the stones.
5. Cut each avocado half into wedges approximately the same size as the grapefruit sections.
6. Remove the outer skin.
7. Arrange the avocado wedges alternately with grapefruit sections in small dishes.
8. Spoon some of the honey sauce over each portion and serve.
