1. Cut the figs in half, then cut each half into three or four wedges.
2. Cut the strawberries in half or, if they're very big, slice them thickly.
3. mix the three fruits together and sprinkle with the sugar and Marsala. Leave to marinate for 2 hours, carefully stirring from time to time to coat the fruit in the Marsala.
4. Spoon the fruit into two dishes and divide the juices evenly between each serving. Pour a tablespoon of cream over the fruit and serve immediately.
