1. Boil the spaghetti in salted water according to the packaging instructions for about 12 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or saucepan, add the onion and stir-fry for 4 - 5 minutes until soft.
3. Remove from the heat.
4. Beat together the eggs and cream, stir in the ham, season with a little salt and plenty of pepper and mix in the cheese.
5. Drain the spaghetti and place the wok or saucepan containing the onion over a moderate heat.
6. Add the spaghetti and egg mixture to the onion and stir to mix.
7. Remove from the heat and stir until the egg thickens. The heat from the spaghetti should be sufficient to do this but, if necessary, return to a low heat.
8. Sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
