method
1. Heat the oil in a medium size saucepan or frying pan and cook the onion until softened but not coloured. This will take about 5 minutes.
2. Add the bacon and cook gently for a further 2 minutes. Stir in the soft cheese until it melts.
3. In a medium size saucepan of lightly salted boiling water, cook the brocolli until the stalks are soft to the point of a knife.
4. Drain and put to one side.
5. In a large saucepan, cook the pasta in boiling water, according to the pack instructions.
6. Combine the pasta with the bacon and cheese mixture and stir in the brocolli.
7. Serve immediately.
