1 bottle oyster sauce
375 g beef steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp groundnut oil
6 salad onions, sliced on the diagonal
100 g oyster mushrooms, sliced
salt and freshly ground black pepper
227 g can water chestnuts, sliced
method
1. Mix the beef and oyster sauce and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a wok or saucepan, add the beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the onions and mushrooms and continue to stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
4. Season to taste, add the water chestnuts and heat through.
